Healing Through the Sound of Music, Inc. (HTSM) is a non profit  501(c)3 music and theatrical performance production company founded in 2001 by acclaimed vocalist Mzuri Moyo Aimbaye.  Ms Aimbaye is an accomplished performer whose musical journey has found her on stages across the US, accompanied by the likes of the New York Symphony Orchestra among many others. Based in Central Florida, the company name is synonymous with the healing language of sound and music that are the direct reflection of her unparalleled talents.

The mission of HTSM is to create quality live music performances along with song inspired theatrical performances based on a historical narrative related to social justice in a production that spiritually inspires and increases awareness of the contributions of women of color in the US and abroad.

This journey of song, acting and spirit is reflected in the flagship production of the multi award-winning one-woman biopic play about the life of the Mother of Voter Registration, The Fannie Lou Hamer Story. The play is currently touring at venues across the country to encourage increased voting participation and as a prelude to the 2020 Presidential Elections with fall dates currently being booked.
